EASTENDERS child actress Lillia Turner has been forced to issue an urgent warning to her fans over fake social media profiles.
The actress is famed for her role as Lily Slater on the programme but she has been dealing with a real-life drama away from Albert Square.
Lillia, 14, posted an urgent message to her fans on Instagram over an ‘impostor’ who was claiming to be her.
Posting from her verified Instagram page, which is ran by her agent and a parent, she shared a screenshot of an account claiming to be her “private account”.
It had already amassed over 100 followers as well as featuring the words in the bio: “If idk [I don’t know] you, go away.”
Shockingly, it was claimed that the account was pretending to be the 14 year old and had messaged other accounts passing themselves off as the popular soap star.
Writing in all capitals on her official page, a message read: “FAKE ACCOUNT ALERT. PLEASE UNFOLLOW THIS ACCOUNT AND DON’T RESPOND TO ANY MESSAGES. THIS IS NOT LILLIA.”
It then added: “This person has a few accounts and messaging people pretending to be Lillia.”
It comes just two months after the star was forced to speak out against a further impostor scandal which saw a Twitter page with over 1,000 followers pretending to be the teen.
It used an identical bio to her Instagram feed in order to pass off as her.
Lillia has built up a following over the past year after taking centre stage in the BBC One soap.
Her portrayal of pregnant 12 year old Lily Slater saw critical acclaim.
Lily gave birth to her child with Ricky Mitchell earlier this year – a daughter named Charli.
However, her parenthood journey had been far from smooth and she has found herself struggling to cope.
She has also been caught up in her mum Stacey’s stalking hell with Theo Hawthorne in the direct aftermath of Charli’s birth.
