Keanu Taylor (Danny Walter) is on borrowed time in EastEnders as Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) learns he was also involved in Albie’s kidnapping a few weeks ago.

After noticing Karen (Lorraine Stanley) was splashing the cash in the pub, Phil (Steve McFadden) started to wonder where she could’ve got a lot of money from in such a short space of time.

Wondering if Karen was hiding something, Phil sent Tommy (Sonny Kendall) into her flat and soon enough, he found Phil’s ransom money stashed under Karen’s bed.

A furious Phil then confronted Karen in the pub, but a desperate Keanu failed to reveal his involvement as well, making it look like Karen was responsible for it all.

When Christmas Day begins in Walford, Sharon and Keanu are busy getting ready for their wedding at Number 43 with Zack (James Farrar) and Martin (James Bye).

Sharon continues to try and mask her guilt towards Keanu, who still doesn’t know that Albie is Phil’s biological son.

At the church, as the wedding gets underway, Sharon walks down the aisle with Albie next to her.

But just as Sharon and Keanu are about to say ‘I do’, Phil arrives and drops the bombshell that Keanu was behind Albie’s kidnap.

What timing.

As Sharon and the congregation reel at the news, further developments will also see Phil and Keanu shocked at a Sharon’s own revelation.

Later, she and Linda (Kellie Bright) make a quick exit alongside two members of The Six – Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) and Denise (Diane Parish) – who are keen to distance themselves from Rocky (Brian Conley) and Jack (Scott Maslen).

These scenes will air prior to The Six discovering a dead body in the pub on the evening of Christmas Day – but who will it be?

It could end up being Phil or Keanu, or Jack or Rocky…but then it could also be Nish (Navin Chowdhry), Dean (Matt Di Angelo) or Ravi (Aaron Thiara).

Or maybe someone else entirely?
