Nish saw his spouse kissing her lover in The Minute Mart as they planned to leave Walford together on the shop’s CCTV, sending him into a fit of rage during Wednesday’s episode.

After smashing up the shop, he headed to No.41 in a bid to get answers from his wife, but was stopped by Ravi.

Ravi took Nish to Walford East to clean up, where the businessman told him all about what he had seen.

Nich then headed home to find out the truth, but ended up stealing Suki’s phone and messaging Eve, asking her to meet at Walford East.

It was Eve’s turn to be shocked when she turned up at the eatery to discover a seething Nish, and the pair were soon locked in a heated row.

Eve ended up revealing her and Suki’s plans for a new life together away from Walford, but as she went to leave, Nish attacked her.

When Ravi arrived, he told him to “finish her off”, leaving EastEnders fans fearing for Eve.

But others were distracted by what they considered a plot hole in the storyline, and took to X – formerly Twitter – to complain.

One wrote: “Sorry but who has an affair and doesn’t have a password and a fake name for said person.”

A second felt the same, tweeting: “Suki & Eve are astonishingly bad at covering their tracks. Kissing in front of a CCTV camera, leaving their phones with no passwords hanging around???”

A fellow viewer questioned: “Wait, what happened to Suki immediately deleting any potentially incriminating texts? Forgetting the CCTV in the shop, was one thing. Suki’s normally way smarter than this, so WTF happened seriously?”

But a fourth hoped it was all part of a bigger plan to bring down Nish, writing: “Suki Panesar has been THE MASTER MANIPULATOR throughout the show, so for her to be this reckless is disappointing unless it’s part of her plan to take Nish down for good. Make it make sense.”

EastEnders airs on BBC One and is available on BBC iPlayer.
