EastEnders fans devastated as Suki breaks down in mini mart and hair falls out in harrowing scenes
EASTENDERS fans have been left devastated after Suki Panesar broke down and found chunks of her hair falling out in harrowing scenes.
The character – played by Balvinder Sopal – has been feeling unwell at various points in recent weeks, and a previous visit to the doctor saw the GP tell her the symptoms she felt related to stress.
Suki certainly has a lot to be stressed about, as she tries to conceal her sexuality and love for Eve Unwin from vicious husband Nish.
She struggles to play happy families with her spouse at the best of times, and despite being a strong woman in her own right, Nish often manages to reduce her down to a shell of herself.
This was certainly the case during Tuesday’s episode, when Nish turned violent following the return of Nugget.
Nish – played by Navin Chowdhry – grabbed his wife by the wrist and twisted it, before gripping her throat until she agreed to his version of events.
In tonight’s episode, Suki went for a lie down, before later telling her family she needed some fresh air.
But later, she was seen curled up on the floor of the mini mart, sobbing her heart out.
As she cradled her wrist, she then touched the back of her neck, and when she pulled her hand back out, she had a clump of hair in her palm, causing her to sob even more.
The sad scenes had a big impact on EastEnders viewers, with one writing on social media: “Oh my god I cannot watch Suki like this” alongside a sobbing emoji.
Another added: “Oh my poor #Suki.”
A third tweeted: “@BalvinderSopal I’m so proud of you for these storylines! Thank you for giving your all to such important topics! Your acting is phenomenal and I’m forever left speechless or sobbing my heart out watching Suki night after night !!”
