EastEnders fans ‘work out’ who Nish will set up for Christmas murder – and it’s not The Six

EastEnders fans reckon they have rumbled which character will be set up for the murder of Keanu Taylor.
Fans of the BBC soap finally saw the Christmas victim revealed on Christmas Day after months of speculation and waiting. And it was Keanu who was killed after Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) stabbed him with a carving fork.
The Six – Linda, Sharon Watts, Denise Fox, Stacey Slater and Kathy Beale – then buried Keanu’s body under the burnt-out cafe. The ladies swore to keep the events a secret.
Meanwhile Walford villain Nish was bashed over the head by Denise at Christmas too – in a bid to stop him dragging Suki out the pub. The Six later lied and claimed it was Keanu who hit him before fleeing.
Nish was in coma for weeks before waking up. At first, the ladies were terrified he would remember what went down – but they were put at ease when he told Suki he couldn’t remember anything.
However, this week Nish has started to get more and more curious and vowed to get to the bottom of what happened in the Vic on Christmas Day – much to the horror of The Six. And in Thursday’s episode (January 25) Nish told Suki how he was starting to remember things and even paid a visit to Linda to shake her up.

He then gave Suki an ultimatum – sign all of their businesses, including the cafe, over to him or he will call the police. She ended up agreeing but he was lying all along and didn’t remember anything. Knowing Suki would hand over her business just like that, Nish said he was more determined than ever to uncover their secret.
Now, fans are certain that Nish will find out everything about Keanu’s body under the cafe – but claim he won’t be setting up any of The Six. Instead, they reckon he will frame enemy Phil Mitchell.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, one person said: “If Nish discovers where Keanu’s body is buried then the Six are on borrowed time and I don’t think they would want to frame Denise with her being married to a copper as then they would all go down.”
A second added: “I kinda like the idea of innocent Phil going down for Keanu as he set up innocent Max for Lucy, karma.” A third quipped: “Yeah as all fingers would point to Phil and while he’s distracted with Kat/Nish that could give the Six opportunity to plant the murder weapon and the rest of the Mitchell’s to take centre stage.”
