EastEnders spoilers: ‘Dead’ Nish Panesar set to take the blame for Keanu Taylor’s murder
The Six have a plan – and it can only end in tears. This is EastEnders after all!
After killing Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters), Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) is being supported by her partners in body disposal.
The now iconic group of women include Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), who was being throttled by Keanu seconds before Linda intervened and stabbed him to death.
Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), who was most in favour of going to the police, an option that became more and more non-viable.
Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), no stranger to a Christmas killing in the Queen Vic.
Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal), who was the one to take most control and try and sort out the crisis with alibis and cover stories.
And, of course, Denise Fox (Diane Parish), who could still yet become a killer herself after smashing an aggressive Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) over the head with a bottle.
Nish had been coerced into the Vic by the women who conspired to get him to back off his campaign of abuse against Suki.
After being shot down by them, he responded violently, grabbing Suki and prompting Denise to fight him off.
Time to get the stories straight (Picture: BBC)
It initially seemed that he was dead, but, not long after Keanu was killed, a very small flicker of life passed through him.
As his life hangs in the balance, the women are now keen to use him as a scapegoat.
The others headed out to dispose of Keanu’s body while Denise kept watch over the sinister businessman. He’s in a bad way, and Denise begged him not to die.
Meanwhile, Suki led the way in constructing a story to explain why Keanu is missing, suggesting that he and Nish had a fight to end them all.
It seems to be their course of action for Nish to take the call – and it will be six against one.
Let’s not forget that he has only just been released after being accused of killing a now returned Eve Unwin (Heather Peace).
And the whole reason he was in prison the first time was the murder of a supposed love rival.
So, the cap most definitely fits – but the story has a lot of holes in it and every opportunity to crumble to pieces at any time.
After this whole mess, the Six women now face challenges both separately and together to hold their nerve.
Can they keep their cool and go along with the plan? Or are their lives all but over?
EastEnders boss Chris Clenshaw exclusively told Metro.co.uk: ‘So, there’s obviously huge consequences playing into next year from the fallout of what happens at Christmas.
‘We’ve got a very exciting 2024 planned. We are building to the 40th anniversary. I’m obviously not going to say too much about what we’ve got planned, it’s over a year away from now!
‘I suppose I can guarantee that it will be a huge celebration for the show.’
It seems that anyone who considered Christmas Day an ending to this much talked about storyline may have to reconsider.
This is just a new – and very dramatic – beginning.
