George Knight (Colin Salmon) rushed to defend Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) from rapist Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) in recent EastEnders scenes, but his actions could have fatal consequences.
Dean was left furious when Beale’s Eels was vandalised, with someone having spray painted the word ‘Rapist’ across the front of the building ahead of their grand opening.
When he later discovered that it was Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) who was behind the vandalism, he was eager to go to the police, though business partner Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) refused to let him.
As Dean stewed in his anger, Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) told him to remember why he had chosen to go into business in the first place, and the pair soon headed over to the Vic together.
The reception was frosty, and George very nearly threw them out, but Dean insisted that he wanted to talk to Linda.
Though everyone warned him not to, Dean soon snuck off upstairs, where Linda was horrified to see him.
She warned him to get out, but he refused to listen, still claiming that he was innocent.
Viewers will know that Dean is far from innocent, having raped Linda in 2014.
As Linda ran from the kitchen, she was met at the top of the stairs by Cindy and George, who were quick to jump to her defence.
As George demanded that he leave, Dean turned on him, insisting that he was only trying to do what was best for his daughter.
As the two men squared up to each other, Dean began taunting Linda, accusing her of having a relationship with George, who is currently engaged to her mum Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe).
As Dean continued to goad them, George lashed out, sending Dean flying down the Queen Vic stairs.
The trio watched on in horror from the top of the stairs as Dean fell unconscious at the bottom.
Will he wake up, or has George finally got rid of Dean for good?
