Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) proposes to Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) in upcoming EastEnders episodes, convinced they can finally look forward to a happy future together.

Recently, Sharon faced every mother’s worst nightmare when little Albie went missing.

While Keanu supported Sharon and tried to help, she remained unaware the kidnap was actually the result of Keanu’s plan to take Albie out of the country going wrong.

When Albie eventually returned home, Keanu declared that the ordeal made him realise just how much he loves Sharon and wanted to get back with her.

Coming up, Keanu makes a silly mistake when a mis-judged joke falls flat with Sharon, who is shaken by the cafe fire.

Still reeling from Albie’s kidnap, a paranoid Sharon then agrees to let Keanu collect Albie from pre-school.

When he returns, Sharon asks him to propose again so she can accept.

In the week, a loved up Sharon and Keanu tell Mitch (Roger Griffiths) and Bernie (Clair Norris) about their engagement as they prepare for celebrations in the pub.

Later, back at home, Sharon is given some worrying news from the hospital, who request an urgent appointment to discuss Albie’s test results.

When the appointment approaches, Keanu ends up being late so Sharon starts the meeting without him.

Eventually Keanu arrives, and the pair are stunned by the news about their son.

Towards the end of the week, Sharon is reeling and lashes out at Keanu in the pub for continuing their engagement drinks around the same time of the development with Albie.

Zack (James Farrar) finds Sharon on Denny’s bench where she tearfully reveals all, but can she cope with this?
