EastEnders spoilers: Romance blossoms as Bobby Beale gets close to Anna Knight but it makes waves
As soon as Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) arrived on Albert Square in EastEnders, Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) was smitten.
They very nearly made things work, though things grew complicated when Anna learnt that Bobby had murdered her half-sister Lucy Beale, after it transpired that her missing mum Rose Knight was actually Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins).
Amid the chaos of Cindy’s dramatic return, Anna ended up sleeping with Bobby’s best friend Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier), leaving Bobby devastated.
However, it seems that the pair may be set to give things another go in upcoming scenes, as they head out on a date.
Not everyone is happy about this, however. When Cindy catches wind of their date, she is left rattled.
Fortunately for her, things don’t quite go to plan, and she is relieved.
However, Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) is determined to help Bobby get things with Anna back on track and steps in at the eleventh hour, though Cindy still clearly has reservations.
Cindy has never kept her dislike of Bobby a secret, and given that he killed her daughter, we can’t exactly blame her.
Determined to keep Anna and Bobby apart, Cindy cruelly tells him that he isn’t good enough to date her daughter, leaving Ian and Peter Beale (Thomas Law) stunned.
