Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) sets her sights on winning Nish Panesar’s (Navin Chowdhry) affection in EastEnders next week, hoping to get him on side.

The newcomer gets on the wrong side of Suki (Balvinder Sopal) in upcoming scenes, with the two repeatedly clashing over their different values as they attempt to one up each other.

Nish, however, doesn’t seem to mind Priya’s presence in the Square, which Priya uses to her advantage, as she flirts with him before taking him out for a spot of clothes shopping.

Yes, really.

Suki, as you can imagine, is left in shock when they arrive back, completely blown away by Nish’s new look.

The matriarch’s attention, however, is soon elsewhere as Nish again belittles her feelings, giving Priya a job in the Minute Mart, meaning that the two feuding women will be colleagues.

It’s quite clear that there is something of a close relationship developing between Nish and Priya, one which Priya seems intent on using to her benefit. The question is: will one thing lead to another?

Will this flirtation turn into a full-blown affair?

If so, how will Suki react? And could this developing relationship play into the mystery corpse in the Vic at Christmas?

Priya, as viewers know, rocked up in the Square earlier this week, with subsequent scenes confirming that she was none other than Ravi Gulati’s (Aaron Thiara) ex – and Nugget’s (Juhaim Rasul Choudury) mum.

The biggest secret, however, is that she had a daughter named Avani (Aaliyah James), meaning Ravi had a child he knew nothing about.

Talk about a shock twist!
