EastEnders spoilers: Vile Dean issues a serious threat to Linda which could destroy her whole life
A confrontation between Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) and George Knight (Colin Salmon) puts Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) in a terrible position in upcoming EastEnders episodes.
Dean returned to Walford a few weeks ago and terrified Linda when he entered the kitchen in the pub. He revealed he was back because his daughter Jade is in hospital near his old home, and needed to stay close by.
To earn himself money, Dean has invested in Cindy (Michelle Collins) and Ian’s (Adam Woodyatt) new pie and mash shop, which created a huge reaction when the residents discovered Cindy and Ian were going into business with a rapist.
It’s launch day for Beales Eels in upcoming episodes, but Dean is furious to see ‘rapist’ written in graffiti across the window.
Convinced Linda was behind it, Dean has a nasty confrontation with her and the Knights in front of a crowd where he states he can sue Linda for slander.
Worried about the impact of legal action on the pub, Linda reluctantly goes to strike a truce with Dean after advice from Jack (Scott Maslen).
When Linda’s efforts to cool the situation fail, Ian and Cindy demand that Dean back down or their business with never take off.
Later, during a tense stand-off upstairs in the pub, George lashes out at Dean, who falls down the stairs and lies motionless at the bottom.
In the aftermath, Cindy calls the ambulance and tells everyone that she didn’t see what happened, leaving Ian furious that she’s covering for George.
At the hospital, Ian begs Cindy not to lie for George as she could end up back inside, and she agrees to tell the police the truth.
But after discovering that George is on a suspended sentence and will go to prison, Linda takes matters into her own hands.
When Elaine (Harriet Thorpe) makes it clear she wants her to say whatever it takes to get George off the hook, what will Linda do?
And where will this leave Dean?
