A Large part of 2023 reeked with Theo’s vulgarities on EastEnders. However, in October, he crossed all lines when he attempted to rape Stacey in her own home. Thankfully, Freddie arrived in the nick of time and saved Stacey by giving Theo a good bashing. Something the lecherous villain well deserved. Following the incident, fans were hopeful that it will be the end of his reign of terror. Unfortunately, the BBC One soap has proved everyone wrong.
The latest spoilers reveal that Theo Hawthorne is well on his way back with new schemes on EastEnders. In episodes scheduled to air in the coming week, Theo corners Stacey in Walford. Despite suffering severe wounds due to Freddie’s bashing, Theo seems to have made a full recovery. In fact, he is well enough to be attending his and Stacey’s court hearing. However, right before the slated date, Theo reaches out to her and requests a meeting.
He catches her off-guard on the streets and asks her to give him 30 minutes of her time on EastEnders. Assuring her that it will be worth it. However, she declines and returns home. Later, she overhears her daughter Lily confiding in Ricky about her fears regarding Theo. This, pushes Stacey to accept Theo’s request for a meeting, in hopes of finding a permanent solution to their problem. Unfortunately, the meeting goes badly for both of them.
When Theo and Stacey meet on EastEnders, she over plays her hand by trying to manipulate him into pleading guilty in court. She tries to offer him a rather unbelievable promise of trying a relationship with him after he has served a sentence. Of course, Theo sees right through it and threatens her of dire consequences and storms off. Leaving Stacey shaken and petrified. Later, despite Jean’s fearful attempts to stop Stacey from attending the hearing, she decides to attend anyway. Thankfully, she gains support from Jack and Martin.
Keeping in mind the way this story is going, it seems like Theo’s antics are far from over in EastEnders. Moreover, there is a possibility that Theo may manage to pull the court hearing in his favor. What will happen then? Will he go back to haunting Stacey all over again? If so, what will she do? We know she has already reached her breaking point with this situation. Could this story be heading towards a violent end. Perhaps with Theo ending on the floor as the murder victim on Christmas?
