EastEnders to air late night Christmas Day episode for horror murder

EastEnders vào dịp Giáng sinh

EastEnders viewers have been counting down the days to Christmas ever since the flash forward episode aired in February, and now we’re able to count down the hours too, as the official BBC Christmas Day schedule has been revealed.

Christmas on Albert Square this year will see Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), Denise Fox (Diane Parish), Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) and Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) –otherwise known as The Six – all gathered around a dead body in the Queen Vic.

How they all get there has so far remained a mystery, just like the identity of the dead man.

All we know so far is that he’s dead… and wearing a unique set of cufflinks.

With a gruesome murder set to take place, the Christmas Day episode will finally shed light on the events leading up to the murder, and how the lives of The Six will be permanently changed forever…

The episode itself is set to air for one hour at 9.30pm – notably after the watershed.

While EastEnders is often aired after the watershed on Christmas Day, could this late night showing be an indication of just how sinister things in Walford are set to get?

Over the past nine months, viewers have been searching for clues in every scene, trailer and social media post to try and get some idea of who may end up dead this Christmas.

There have been a number of suspects throughout the year, with countless Walford men putting themselves in the frame to be the body.

Characters like Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry), Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) and Theo Hawthorne (William Ellis) have all put themselves in the frame over the last nine months, thanks to their vile actions against members of The Six.

There’s also the actions of Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley), Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) and Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) to consider.

Not to mention a whole host of other Walford men who have done questionable things this year – we’re looking at you, Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden).

It really could be anyone!

With just 27 days to go until the big day, it isn’t long until we finally find out…
