EastEnders viewers predict shock twist after spotting ‘clue’ to Priya and Avani’s real identities

EASTENDERS viewers have started to suspect Priya of faking Avani’s identity after noticing a secret exchange between the characters.
After making a reappearance in Walford, Priya (Sophie Khan Levy) told ex-boyfriend Ravi (Aaron Thiara) that she got pregnant with his daughter before moving away from the town.
While he was shocked by the news, the man soon embraced the teen as part of the family and has worked to form a relationship with her.
Ravi even invited Priya and Avani to move in with him and his son Nugget after the pair got evicted from their flat.
But it seems the women are keeping a secret from their newfound family members.
In a recent episode, Nish was giving the girl advice about focusing on school before starting to think about a career.
When he mentioned her starting up at Walford High, Avani gave her mum a sly look.
Priya shook her head, insinuating that she should keep quiet.
Fans had already been surprised by the casting for the girl, as she is meant to be 13 but the actress playing her Aaliyah James is 23.
The interaction made EastEnders fans suspicious that Avani is not actually Ravi’s daughter as Priya said.
One person wondered: “Why are Avani & Priya worried about Avani being enrolled in a school? Some more secrets to come out.”
Another mused: “Why do I feel like Avani may not be Ravi’s daughter after all?”
A third speculated: “I haven’t stopped thinking about how sus this was. i’m so convinced that either Avani isn’t Priya’s daughter at all, or she is but she’s Ranveer’s not Ravi’s and this is a scheme to get money/revenge.”
