ALBIE Watts was brought back to Walford after being kidnapped much to Sharon Watts’ relief.
However, the EastEnders legend gets another nasty surprise next week when she makes a big discovery about her young son.
Times have been hard for Walford inhabitants, particularly Sharon Watts (played by Letitia Dean).
The businesswoman was devastated when her son Albie went missing and things were made worse when she was asked to drop off a shock amount of cash in exchange for the boy’s return home.
While Albie was safely brought back to his mother, life in Albert Square seemed more dangerous than ever when Kathy Beale’s café was destroyed by a mysterious fire.
Coming up next week on BBC One, Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) makes a mis-judged joke which falls flat with Sharon who is shaken by the café fire which has stirred up memories.
Unbeknownst to anybody in the Square, the café fire was started by a desperate and cash-strapped Rocky Cotton who was looking to pay loan shark Nish Panesar his dues.
Later on, a paranoid Sharon agrees to let Keanu collect Albie from pre-school, and once back at No.45, she asks him to propose again so she can accept.
Keanu and Sharon already broke off one engagement but Albie’s kidnapping brought them closer together once again.
Little does Sharon know that Albie’s kidnapping ordeal hides its own secrets as Keanu is more involved in his own son’s disappearance than she could ever imagine.
Sharon and Keanu tell Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths) and Bernadette Taylor (Clair Norris) about their engagement as they prepare to celebrate in The Vic.
In later scenes, Sharon tries to persuade Keanu’s mother Karen (Lorraine Stanley) to join the celebrations but she refuses.
Back at No.43, Sharon is worried when she receives a phone call from the hospital requesting an urgent appointment to discuss Albie’s test results.
Keanu tries to reassure her as they anxiously prepare for Albie’s hospital appointment.
But when the day of the appointment rolls by, Keanu is late, prompting Sharon to start the appointment without him.
He finally arrives and the pair are stunned by shocking news as they agree to have tests themselves.
What will Sharon and Keanu find out?
Could Albie’s health be in danger?
EastEnders airs from Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
