‘Very poorly’ Natalie Cassidy forced to pull out of EastEnders filming
EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy has been forced to miss filming after feeling ‘very poorly.’
The Sonia Fowler actress, 40, didn’t go into details about what was wrong but revealed on Instagram that she’ll be taking a couple of days off.
Taking to Instagram Stories, Natalie shared a picture from her ‘sick bed’ sofa.
The mum-of-two took a picture and shared she was watching an episode of the arts documentary The South Bank Show while she gets better.
‘Poorly,’ she wrote. ‘The only time I will ever get to watch the South Bank Show Originals. Beryl Cook. Bliss.
‘But I hate being unwell and mucking up people’s schedules!’
She added: ‘Everyone works so hard and I really have to be very poorly to not go to work.
‘Couple of days rest and I’ll be back at it!’
In a separate snap she added: “Whilst I am resting and getting better I’m beginning to think about my new home studio and what I’d like in it.
‘Can anyone recommend a company that makes neon wall signs?’
Over on EastEnders Sonia and her partner Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) are desperate to have a baby together in EastEnders, and recently began receiving IVF treatment.
The couple decided to take this step after Reiss revealed that he couldn’t naturally conceive, but that he wanted to have children with Sonia.
Due to the fact that Sonia already has a daughter, the couple had to go to a private clinic, with Reiss dipping into the savings of his comatose wife Debbie in order to fund the treatment.
Things seem to have progressed nicely for the couple, and recent scenes saw Sonia get excited as she suspected she may be pregnant.
