Who dies remains unclear, with the killer also not revealed amid the possible victims and killers being confirmed. Kathy Beale, Suki Panesar, Denise, Linda Carter, Stacey Slater and Sharon Watts are the suspects at the scene of the crime

Now, it’s confirmed according to new promo images that Phil Mitchell, Keanu Taylor, Ravi Gulati, Dean Wicks, Nish Panesar, Rocky Cotton and Jack Branning could be about to leave the show, or at least one of them. What time is EastEnders on Christmas Day? What happens?

This year, EastEnders is on at the much later time of 9:45pm this year, as a huge twist unfolds. The episode is on for an hour, which is five minutes longer than last year – while there is normally either two 30-minute episodes or an hour-long visit on this day.
