EastEnders legend Shona McGarty seen arguing with a shopper in Tesco car park
EASTENDERS actress Shona McGarty has been pictured appearing to argue with a fellow shopper on a trip to Tesco.
The TV star – who plays Whitney Dean on the BBC One soap – seemed to be having a row with a woman over how she had parked her car.
Shona, 32, looked frustrated as a blonde shopper was seen pointing and gesturing towards Walford star’s BMW.
The actress appeared to be locked in a tense exchange with the woman at the north London car park.
Shona sported a long black coat, a leopard print jumper and blue jeans for the outing, with her fiery red hair tied up in a bun.
A Tesco’s employee was then seen seemingly intervening to try and resolve the matter.
The commotion attracted attention from several other customers.
It looked like the other driver was annoyed that Shona had parked too close to her in the car park.
She then called staff members for assistance.
Shortly after Shona appeared with her shopping, before squeezing into her car and driving off.
The Sun has contacted Shona’s rep for comment.
Just last month, The Sun exclusively revealed that Shona had fallen for new man David Bracken after a painful split from co-star Max Bowden (Ben Mitchell).
Tattooed David is one half of Irish guitar duo Blessed, who regularly perform gigs across their homeland and have more than 18,000 Instagram followers.
Shona, who is also a talented singer, recently explained her decision to leave Walford and her character Whitney Dean behind after more than a decade.
“It wasn’t an easy decision because I’ve made so many friends,” she said.
“I’ve seen people come and go, and meanwhile, Whitney has been one of the longest-standing characters.
“I’ve had so much fun and done so many storylines, some of which have been sensitive, and I’ve been honoured to be trusted with such heavy stuff, year after year.”
She added: “So, I’m going to be sad to say goodbye to my friends and family, but it was right decision for me as I want to do other things.
“After 15 years, I’ve had a pretty good run.”
