EastEnders spoilers: Dean’s rage as Chelsea unites with Linda to bring him down
Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) has made a dramatic return to EastEnders this week and turned Linda Carter’s (Kellie Bright) world upside down by going into business with Ian and Cindy Beale (Adam Woodyatt and Michelle Collins).
With absolutely no allies on the Square, Dean turned to his former step-sister for support in recent scenes, but unfortunately things didn’t exactly go his way.
Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) spent eight months as part of Dean’s family when his step-dad Kevin Wicks married her mum Denise (Diane Parish) back in 2007.
In recent scenes, Dean reached out to her in the hope that she would offer him some support, and asked her to meet him for a coffee.
Chelsea and Dean met in the café and he was soon telling her what had brought him back to the Square, revealing how daughter Jade’s illness had got worse, and reminding her of how his brother had died of the same condition.
Despite Dean’s attempts to emotionally blackmail Chelsea into talking to Linda, she made it very clear that she knew what he’d done, and didn’t believe that he was innocent.
Viewers will know that Dean raped Linda in 2014, and later attempted to rape Roxy Mitchell, though he never admitted to his crimes.
Dean was found not guilty of his attack on Roxy, and was therefore free to go about his life as normal.
As Chelsea stormed out of the café with Dean hot on her heels, Linda spotted her, and later tracked her down to ask her what Dean had said.
Chelsea assured her that she knew what he had done, and told her that she had her back.
What they didn’t know was that Dean had been watching from across Albert Square, and he didn’t appear to be too happy about their friendliness.
With it becoming more and more clear that no one wants Dean around, will he decide that he’d be better off elsewhere, or will he stay and make Linda’s life a misery?
