EastEnders brings back missing character in surprise scenes
EastEnders has been bringing back a lot of characters as of late, and another character who has made an appearance after a long hiatus is Bailey Baker (Kara-Leah Fernandes).
Bailey was last seen in Albert Square back in August, and tonight her appearance nearly got Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) in a heap of trouble.
Viewers will know that Karen found herself right in the middle of Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) botched plan to take son Albie away from Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), which soon turned into a staged kidnap.
When Keanu failed to get away from Walford with Albie, he asked Karen to take him to her sister’s, before telling Sharon that Albie had been kidnapped, and sending her a fake ransom note.
Sharon soon coughed up the £50,000 for Albie’s safe return, and Karen has been stuck with the money ever since.
In recent scenes, Bailey appeared in the middle of a tense conversation between Karen and Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths), and asked if she could use Karen’s holdall for a sleepover.
Having stuffed the money into the bag earlier in the episode, Karen was visibly panicked as she told Bailey that she couldn’t use it, offering her a Minute Mart tote bag instead.
Bailey seemed a little confused by Karen’s erratic reaction, but thankfully left without any further questions.
As Karen sat down to resume her conversation about Keanu and Sharon’s recent engagement, it was clear that he suspected there was something wrong, though he too left the matter alone.
With Karen’s behaviour becoming more and more suspicious, is someone set to uncover the truth? Could it be Bailey who reveals all?
