EastEnders spoilers: Stacey stunned to get a message from missing Eve
Is she trying to make contact?
Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) is on edge in EastEnders soon as she wonders if a missing Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) is trying to make contact.
After Nish (Navin Chowdhry) saw CCTV footage of Eve and Suki (Balvinder Sopal) kissing, he teamed up with Ravi (Aaron Thiara) and told him to kill Eve and dispose of the body.
During a showdown in the woods, Ravi failed to stick to his father’s wishes and ended up letting Eve go.
Back in Walford, with Suki and Stacey concerned, upcoming episodes will see Stace receive flowers from Eve at the bap van.
A hopeful Stacey tells Suki, who is convinced they’re not actually from Eve.
After some investigation on Nish’s laptop, Suki pales to learn that he sent the flowers and therefore he must know about the affair.
Given Nish’s history and the fact he was in prison for murdering someone Suki previously knew, she reveals everything to Stacey as they worry about Eve’s safety.
Fearing the worst about her beloved Eve, Suki decides to plan revenge and gets Vinny (Shiv Jalota) to stay out for the evening, telling him that she wants time alone with Nish.
Fortunately, Stacey bursts in on Suki while she is preparing a meal and tries to stop her from doing something she’ll regret.
Later in the week, Stacey is given another update about her friend as Jack (Scott Maslen) tells her that Nish and Ravi have been arrested for Eve’s murder.
But how will Suki cope with this development?
And if Eve is still alive, will she ever return?
‘Ravi’s at a point where his conscience is taking over and he’s thinking about who he wants as a person in comparison to his impulsive behaviour in the past’, Aaron Thiara said.
It’s a moment of growth for him, and he’s wanting to be his own man but he’s got caught up in this horrible situation with his dad pulling him in to it.
‘With that, it’s bought a whole heap of drama now because he’s wanting to keep it all under wraps from Nish as well as from Suki, and I think he believes he can wipe the slate clean.’
