Kat Slater makes dangerous decision as she dates new man in EastEnders

However, she picks a dangerous man to canoodle with next week in EastEnders and it could announced another explosive feud.

Sam Mitchell made sure her brother Phil paid for shunning her out of the family business and denying her what is rightfully hers by announcing he had cheated on his wife Kat Slater.

As BBC One viewers will remember, the Walford baddie romped with Emma Harding prior to his wedding ceremony to the owner of Kat’s Cabs and Alfie Moon was the one to spill the beans.

Next week, Kat (portrayed by Jessie Wallace) wastes no time and signs the end of her marriage as she seemingly embarks on a new romance… with a man who is just as dangerous as Phil.

Fans of the London-based program will surely be surprised that Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) catches Kat’s attention after he was also cheated on by his soon-to-be ex-wife Suki (Balvinder Sopal).

Coming up, Suki Panesar is suspicious of Nish when he offers to rent a flat to Kat, rent-free to begin with.

Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) sees right through him and teases Nish that he fancies Kat.

Later on, in The Vic, Phil (Steve McFadden) is hopeful he can fix his marriage and tells George Knight (Colin Salmon) that he’s giving Kat time to cool down before trying to win her back.

However, tempers flare when Kat arrives and declines Phil’s offer to pay for her drink before Nish steps in to ask him to leave her alone.

Phil warns Nish not to mess with Kat – but how will his rival respond to the threat?

Back at No. 41, Priya advises Nish to get on with his life as Suki is never coming back, so he calls Kat and asks her on a date.

Unfortunately for him, Kat comes to her senses and says it’s too soon for her to give him a chance, before turning him down clearly.

But Nish rarely takes no for an answer and, soon enough, Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) steps in, determined to stop her cousin from dating the treacherous businessman.

Overwhelmed and scared that her own secrets could spill out, she blurts out the truth about what Nish tried to do to Eve Unwin to get revenge for her affair with Suki.

Kat marches over to confront Nish to demand answers and he explains his reasoning.

Manipulative and cunning, Nish manages to make Kat soften and she agrees to a date.

Over dinner at Walford East, in other scenes, Kat and Nish are having fun until Phil walks in.

Jealous Phil’s cruel jibes cut Kat deep, and she rushes out, with Nish following.

But will she really explore her romantic potential with Nish?

Will Phil ever be able to make it up to her?
