ade Goody’s mum Jackiey ‘frozen out of Christmas Day’ with Strictly star grandson Bobby Brazier amid bitter family feud
JADE Goody’s mum has reportedly been “frozen out” of Christmas Day with Strictly star Bobby Brazier and his brother Freddie following a bitter family feud with their dad Jeff.
It comes after The Sun revealed Bobby had banned members of his family from the Strictly audience.
Jackiey Budden, who is the maternal grandmother of Bobby, 20, and model Freddie, 19, is claimed to have been snubbed by Jeff despite hoping to get an invitation to dinner on Dec 25th.
She will spend Monday in her east London flat instead, and a pal said: “She is very upset and would do anything to see the boys.”
Big Brother star Jade died aged 27 in March 2009 after getting diagnosed with cervical cancer.
Jeff previously hit out at Jackiey and claimed she “overstated” how much time she spent with his sons.
The friend added to The Mail on Sunday: “It’s tremendously sad for Jackiey, the boys are really the only family she has left since Jade died.
“She would give anything to be with them on the day, to give them their presents and tell them how much she loves them.
“While Jackiey is the first to accept that she isn’t your ordinary nan, that she is a bit whacky and at times difficult, she is still human and wants to see them.
“It’s the end to a very special year for Bobby and she would just love to be there to celebrate with him.”
In 2021 Bobby revealed he was back in touch with Jackiey after they lost contact.
Speaking to his fans on Instagram, EastEnders actor
Bobby said: “I didn’t see her for ages – for way too long – but I went to see her twice recently.
“And honestly if there’s one woman you shouldn’t underestimate it’s my nan.
“Honestly, she’s like a wizard! It’s nuts.”
