‘Where do they sleep?!’ complain EastEnders fans as they call out glaring problem with Queen Vic’s floor plan
A floor plan for The Vic was previously shared but it raised more questions than it answered.
EASTENDERS fans have called out a glaring problem with the Queen Vic’s floor plan and asked, “Where do they sleep?!”
The pub is the central to a lot of the action on the BBC soap, with George Knight and partner Elaine Peacock the current landlords alongside Elaine’s daughter, Linda Carter.
But despite all the drama that goes on downstairs – including the recent murder of Keanu Taylor on Christmas Day – it’s what is happening upstairs that has got many EastEnders fans talking.
The living space upstairs regularly features in episodes, including the kitchen, living room and landing area.
Viewers have also seen Linda’s bedroom, but they have been left wondering where the other members of the household sleep.
Currently, there is George and Elaine, George’s daughter’s Anna and Gina, Linda, and her children, Ollie and Annie.
Taking to X – formerly Twitter – one fan wrote: “Just thinking about the living arrangements in The Vic on @bbceastenders , where does everyone sleep?
“George and Elaine have the room by stairs, Kitchen, Lounge, Linda’s room, Bathroom — Where are the other three rooms?”
Another tweeted: “I actually wanna Know how many bedrooms there are in the Queen Vic please because …” alongside crying with laughter emojis.
A third added: “How many bedrooms has the Vic got linda 2 girls mum n gorege and of course oldie.”
One fan tried to explain it by replying: “Ollie room is next to bathroom, they have Linda bedroom, Whitney old bedroom & johny old bedroom next to Ollie.”
But in 2019, House Beautiful shared an article featuring floor plans from eight of the UK’s most popular shows.
EastEnders and the Queen Vic was one of them, and in it, only three bedrooms are visible, one of which is a single room.
It isn’t the only property viewers have been left stumped by, as they’ve also wondered how everyone fits into the Slater’s house.
EastEnders airs on BBC One and is available on BBC iPlayer.
