BBC Strictly Come Dancing’s Dianne Buswell ‘distancing herself’ from ‘lovestruck’ Bobby Brazier

Strictly Come Dancing professional Dianne Buswell has told her celebrity partner Bobby Brazier that the pair are just friends.
The 34-year-old professional has been teaching Bobby, 20, how to dance after her signed up for the show. On-screen the pair have been wowing the judges and viewers at home each week.
But after spending hours on end together during their training, a TV insider has said Dianne has been forced to distance herself from Bobby. They said: “Dianne told him, ‘We are good friends, partners, nothing more’.”
They added that Bobby is “head-over-heels” for her. However, the professional “doesn’t resonate” with the crush.
Body language experts have also been recognising that the duo are getting close but it’s “not reciprocated” by Dianne. Darren Stanton previously told Entertainment Daily: “Dianne and Bobby generally do have a deep connection and deep rapport.
“I’ve previously noticed that Dianne can find Bobby slightly overpowering. However, she’s got used to him to some degree.”
While the pair have been building a close friendship in recent weeks since working together on the show, Dianne is still firmly loved-up with her beau Joe Sugg. They last shared a snap together two weeks ago after posting about their dinner at the home they share together.
Dianne and Joe met on Strictly in 2018 and they quickly became close, confirming they were a couple before the series had ended. They’ve since moved in together and taken big steps in their romance.
Joe has been supporting his partner behind closed doors after Dianne and Bobby continue to fly through the competition. With dancing taking up most of their week, the duo have been working long and hard hours to perfect the routines.
They’re regularly favoured on both the leaderboard and by viewers at home – and have avoided the dance off every week so far. Their next big target will be making it to Blackpool Ballroom which is set to take place in the middle of November.
Bobby has currently taken time off from filming EastEnders while he works on the show – though he’ll be back home as soon as he’s completed the competition.
