He’s the political commentator the world needs and, for a long time, Danny Dyer branding David Cameron a t*** lived rent free in our heads.

The dust settled after the former Prime Minister vanished from front-line politics, but his unexpected comeback as Foreign Secretary has led everyone right back to the infamous footage just minutes later.

Following the announcement of Cameron’s appointment in Rishi Sunak’s cabinet reshuffle, the video of the epic rant by Dyer has resurfaced, and is being shared far and wide.

Danny, who’s EastEnders character Mick Carter went missing at sea last Christmas, appeared on ITV’s Good Morning Britain back in 2018, opposite former Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn.

The topic soon turned to Brexit, and Danny gave us one of the most iconic pop-culture moments of recent times when he embarked on a rant which saw him label David Cameron a ‘t***’.

‘I haven’t got a clue what f****** Brexit is,’ Danny told the panel and its hosts. ‘When you watch Question Time it’s like a comedy! No one knows what it is?

‘What’s happened to that t*** David Cameron who called it on?’ He continued. ‘He’s in Nice with his trotters up! He should be held accountable for it. He should be held accountable! T***!’

Following today’s (November 13) announcement, social media users have taken to Twitter/X to remind each other of Danny’s famous outburst.

‘Now that David Cameron has magically reappeared it’s time to enjoy this classic Danny Dyer moment,’ one user wrote beneath a clip of the infamous rant.

One of their followers was quick to share their amusement, replying, ‘It’s the final “t***” at the end for me,’ followed by a laughing emoji.

Another user reacted to the cabinet reshuffle news by posting the video, saying: ‘So, David Cameron is back, you say? Cut to Danny Dyer’s incisive summary of the man…’

‘No-one sums up David Cameron quite like Danny Dyer,’ another added.

Elsewhere, another user reacted to the news of David Cameron’s appointment by saying, ‘Danny Dyer is not going to be happy,’ followed by two laughing emojis.

Rishi Sunak’s cabinet reshuffle saw Suella Braverman sacked from her position as Home Secretary, with James Cleverly taking her place.

Elsewhere in the cabinet, Jeremy Hunt has kept his position as Chancellor, while Neil O’Brien and Nick Gibb have stood down from their positions as Junior Health Minister and Schools Standards Minister respectively.
