This article contains spoilers from Monday’s (January 29) EastEnders which ahs not yet aired on TV but is available to watch now on BBC iPlayer.

Denise Fox (Diane Parish) has been really struggling in the aftermath of Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) murder in EastEnders.

Keanu was stabbed by Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) in dramatic Christmas Day scenes, after attacking Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) over access to Albie.

In the wake of his death, The Six made the decision to cover up the crime by burying his body in the burnt out café.

Unfortunately, things only went downhill from there.

During a fight with Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), Denise ended up falling into Keanu’s makeshift grave, where she lost her signature ‘D’ necklace in the process.

It wasn’t until after they had filled the grave in with concrete that Denise noticed it was missing, and begged the other women to help her dig him up again.

However, she was left terrified when the women put their foot down and refused, with Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) going as far as to threaten to frame Denise for the crime if she even thought about digging him up herself.

With no other choice, Denise was forced to let it lie, though it has haunted her every day since.

In recent scenes, it became clear just how badly their actions had affected Denise, as she began to unravel in gut-wrenching scenes.

While her family prepared a birthday surprise for her downstairs, Denise was let hopeful when she saw her lost necklace around her neck in the bedroom mirror.

However, she was soon crushed as she realised that she had imagined it, and had no choice but to go downstairs and face her family.

Soon, the attention all became too much for struggling Denise, and she rushed out of the house, leaving her family concerned for her wellbeing.

Later, son Raymond left Denise heartbroken as he pleaded with her to be his mummy again, terrified by her actions in recent days.

This gave Denise the kick she needed to start getting things in order, as she came to a worrying conclusion for the rest of The Six.

She decided that the only way to get through this would be to tell Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) everything.

Will she go through with her plan?
