EastEnders set for ‘more Christmas murders’ as fans spot chilling Kathy ‘clue’
BBC EastEnders fans are certain there is more bloodshed to come after Kathy Beale made a cryptic remark about death – and fans believe she’s dropping a major hint
EastEnders fans are convinced more murders could take place before the highly anticipated Christmas death after Kathy Beale made a chilling remark.
Viewers know that a mystery male character will die this Christmas, with one of six females tipped to be the killer after the BBC released a flashforward scene in February. But the latest episode of the BBC soap left viewers sure there were hints at there being more than one killing ahead of Christmas.
Monday’s episode of the show (October 16) saw Rocky inviting Ian, Cindy and Peter over for lunch under the ruse that Kathy wants them all the bury the hatchet. But Rocky’s secret agenda was to swoon his way back into No.45 following his money troubles, and the peace talks quickly ascend into chaos.

As the group began shouting at eachother and debating their living situation, Kathy suddenly yelled: “Living under one roof there’ll be murders before Christmas!” Fans now think the comment was foreshadowing what’s to come.
Flocking to X, formerly Twitter, one wrote: “There’ll be murders before Christmas.” If this is about the fire, could it be a hint that the rumours Rocky may cause the fire are true? If it’s to do with Christmas, is it foreshadowing that a Beale family member or Rocky might die, or that Kathy will kill someone? Then there’s Keanu amping up his plan against Sharon – does this suggest Keanu is the victim with him possible rumbled?”
Another agreed: “BEFORE Xmas as well…Are they gonna squeeze another one in first? The fire?” A third said: “Is that a clue Kathy?” In the scene this Christmas, Denise Fox, Suki Panesar, Stacey Slater, Kathy Beale, Sharon Watts and Linda Carter are stood over a dead body in The Queen Vic, while the male’s identity is not known.
It seems like a showdown has occurred as all the women are either covered in blood or their clothes are ripped. Over the past few months rumours have been swirling as to who dies and why, with scenes on the show heavily hinting at certain victims and motives.

Elsewhere on the episode, Ravi bumped into Jack and learned that Nugget had been sighted. Ravi grew suspicious of Suki’s behavior and asked Jack to follow his dad’s car. Ravi arrived quickly behind the pair to disrupt the meeting but was shocked when Nugget’s mother, Priya, entered the flat where he had been hiding.
