EastEnders spoilers: Cindy Beale reels from a bitter clash with George Knight after she fears the worst for him
Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) and ex-husband George Knight (Colin Salmon) are set to clash in upcoming EastEnders scenes after Cindy fears the worst for him.
George is set to receive another visit from his dad, Eddie Knight (Christopher Fairbank), who is notoriously disliked by Cindy, and after his spiteful comments during his last visit, we can understand why.
Cindy was left reeling when Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) revealed that her grandfather had made comments about her hair, leaving her upset.
The protective mother wasted no time in calling him out, which led to tension over the dinner table.
However, when Eddie announces that he has won an award for championing diversity in boxing in upcoming scenes, George is proud, though Gina isn’t convinced by his nice guy act.
Gina’s irritation continues to grow until eventually, George agrees to take Eddie out for a tour of the Square to get out of her way.
The next day, while helping Cindy at Beale’s Eels, Gina shares her concerns about George and Eddie, and how well they’re getting on despite his previous hurtful remarks to Gina.
Horrified, Cindy challenges George over his acceptance of Eddie, but when George turns it around and criticises Cindy’s parenting, things turn sour.
However, Cindy isn’t prepared to give up that easily and soon tracks him down for round two.
The pair argue again, leaving Cindy reeling. Will they ever be able to get through to each other?
