Weeks have flown by since Stacey Slater (portrayed by Lacey Turner) and the rest of the Six witnessed the murder of Keanu Taylor.

While Denise Fox and Linda Carter are struggling to keep it together, both Stacey and Suki Panesar have remained level-headed, as they are determined to avoid prison.

However, in scenes due to air next week on BBC One, Stacey may be rattled to find out Martin Fowler (played by James Bye) will be leaving Walford once again.

Martin already left Albert Square in early 2023, amid his daughter Lily Slater’s pregnancy storyline.

At the time, Martin was desperate to help Stacey provide for their pregnant daughter and he accepted a job abroad.

In this instance, Martin will be leaving Walford for more personal reasons.

Coming up, the beloved stalwart flies to Australia next week to join Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean).

The blonde bombshell, who is just as shaken as the rest of the Six following the death of her devious fiancé Keanu, left Walford herself to support another one of her pals, Michelle Fowler.

Michelle, who hasn’t been seen in the Square since 2018, is none other than Martin’s sister and it is revealed she’s set to go through an operation.

How will it all go?

When will Martin and Sharon head back to Albert Square?

Could they bring Michelle with them?

While this remains to be seen, all hell breaks loose in Walford, particularly in the Slater household when Stacey finds out that her cousin Kat (Jessie Wallace) is considering giving Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) a chance.

Kat was left heartbroken when she found out her husband Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) had cheated on her with Emma Harding moments before their September, 2023, wedding.

Next week, Stacey is determined to stop Kat from dating Nish and shares a secret with her best friend Eve Unwin (Heather Peace).

How will Eve react to Stacey’s bombshell?

Unbeknownst to many residents, Stacey was involved in the death of Keanu Taylor, as mentioned above, alongside Suki Panesar, Sharon Watts, Kathy Beale, Linda Carter and Denise Fox.

Linda Carter stabbed Keanu when he tried to strangle Sharon who had shared the truth about her son Albie’s parentage with him.

The small group then disposed of Keanu’s body underneath the local café, which was destroyed by a huge fire in late, 2023, and agreed to keep the death a secret.

But before Keanu was killed off, the Six confronted Nish Panesar in The Vic as he grasped at straws to try and keep his wife Suki from leaving him.

The showdown took a violent turn as Nish hit Linda across the face and Denise retaliated by striking him over the head with a champagne bottle.

Nish was left in a coma and survived the assault but he was told Keanu had actually been responsible for his ordeal.

Will the truth be exposed sooner than expected?

EastEnders airs from Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
