He stood on two pieces of black guttering, and she made arms for her festive ornament out of pipe insulation.

She commanded Joe, 41, to hold the Burgundy Brigadier in place while his glue set, but ex-EastEnders star didn’t look very happy about it.

He groaned: “How long have I got to stay here for?”

The mum-of-five shared the final results on Instagram, and raved: “PROUD.

“I made a giant nutcracker it’s taller than me & Joe & almost hits the ceiling.

“I actually love him. We’ve named him Neil. He’s made out of 3 buckets, some guttering & some pipe insulation.

“And he was SUPER easy. I feel like every time I see a giant nutcracker it’s hundreds of pounds or it looks soooo complicated to make so I hope this inspires anyone who wants to make one to grab a bucket and go for it.”

One fan replied: “These reels just aren’t complete without a @realjoeswashy comment or face on” alongside a crying with laughter emoji.

Another follower gushed: ” I think that’s the best thing you’ve ever crafted!!!!”

Stacey has enjoyed massive success with her BBC show Sort Your Life Out, which sees her and a team of professionals help families  declutter and organise their messy and disorderly homes.

And for the latest series, she’s even enlisted the help of her celeb BFF – the one and only Mrs Hinch.

Stacey and Mrs Hinch, aka Sophie Hinchcliffe, are firm friends, so it was the perfect pairing to get her to step in for series regular Dilly Carter.

“Dilly had other commitments so we had to find somebody just for one of the episodes to fill in,” Stacey said.

“The closest I could think of was Mrs Hinch, because she’s amazing. It was nice to work with her as well as have your mate on set.”

Sort Your Life Out is on BBC One on Thursday evenings.
