BBC EastEnders viewers ‘solve’ sinister Cindy Beale and Eddie Knight twist after telling scene
EastEnders viewers are questioning if something sinister happened between Cindy Beale and her ex-husband George Knight's adoptive father Eddie Knight, after a scene between them
EastEnders fans are wondering what might have happened between Cindy Beale and Eddie Knight after a recent scene on the BBC soap.
George Knight’s adoptive father Eddie made his debut on the show on Monday, and he soon came face-to-face with his son’s ex-wife Cindy. As the pair bumped into each other, something Eddie said and the way the pair were in the scene left fans puzzled.
As the couple entered The Queen Vic pub to locate their son, they came across Cindy who they had not seen in years. Cindy had walked out on George and their daughters in 2014 after a row, while it later emerged this was down to the fact she’d learned her daughter Lucy Beale had been murdered.
Of course the Knights knew Cindy as Rose Knight then, and they did not know about the Beales and vice versa. So to see Cindy back where George was living, the pub, left his parents surprised.

But an interaction between Cindy and Eddie left fans suspicious something went on that is yet to be revealed. As Cindy said hello to the pair, she smiled at George’s mother Gloria before looking uneasy at Eddie.
Eddie then smirked at her quite creepily before telling her: “He must be doing something right to keep luring you back.” Cindy laughed this off while she did look a little uncomfortable.
Viewers watching the scenes questioned if there was more to it and whether something had happened between them before she fled in 2014. Taking to X, one viewer posted: “cindy reaction to george’s dad… I get the feeling he did something to her.”

Another viewer commented: “Cindy left the pub as quick as George’s parents arrived I’m predicating the father is a villain and tried to hurt Cindy? Hopefully you can can tease the storyline soon.”
A third fan posted: “Georges dad is the reason Cindy disappeared. I can feel it,” while a fourth fan said: “I think they have a affair behind George back.” Another comment about the scenes read: “Cmon now Cindy, spill the tea. What’s going on between you and Eddie??”
