EastEnders spoilers: Cindy Beale targets her daughter’s killer Bobby and risks his future

Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) turns her attention to Bobby (Clay Milner Russell) in EastEnders soon as she tries to stop him and Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) spending time with each other.

Prior to Cindy’s return, it became apparent that Bobby had somewhat of a crush on Anna.

At the time, he remained unaware of Anna’s connection to his family, with it eventually being confirmed she is Peter’s (Thomas Law) sister and Cindy’s daughter.

When Cindy eventually got back to Walford, she had several awkward and tense interactions with Bobby – who killed her daughter Lucy back in 2015.

Coming up, Cindy is rattled to learn that Bobby and Anna are going on a date, but is later relieved when she’s told their plan hasn’t entirely worked.

Fortunately, Ian (Adam Woodyatt) steps in at the eleventh hour to help the young lovers, but it’s clear Cindy still has her reservations.

Later in the week, a troubled Cindy finds Bobby and says he’s not good enough to date Anna which horrifies Ian and Peter.

Ian continues to try and help by making a reservation for them both at Walford East, but Bobby is shocked when Cindy arrives.

A few months ago, after the cafe fire, Cindy suggested to Bobby that they both agree to find a way to move on from their past.

Was this all a lie?

Or has something changed for Cindy to suddenly stop making an effort with Bobby?
