Nish Panesar’s memory returns as The Six take drastic action in EastEnders
The truth is catching up with the Six - could they murder again?
NISH Panesar has no idea he indirectly witnessed a murder on Christmas Day in The Vic.
The Walford Six panic next week in EastEnders as the businessman is slowly getting his memory back.
While Keanu Taylor is the main casualty of the soap’s latest Christmas episode, Nish Panesar (portrayed by Navin Chowdhry) also suffered from the repercussions of his own actions.
Regular BBC One viewers will remember that Denise Fox (Diane Parish) bottled the businessman as he was trying to hold on to his wife Suki (Balvinder Sopal).
But when he woke up from his coma, Nish was unable to remember what really happened on Christmas Day.
Coming up, however, Nish begins to get suspicious after hearing Suki and Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) having a clandestine conversation about the café – where Keanu Taylor’s body is buried.
During a day of probing, Nish gleans enough information from Denise and Linda to realise they are hiding something.
Later, Suki’s blood runs cold when Nish explains his memory is returning.
Could he have figured out what happened to Keanu?
Nish later takes drastic action as he tells Suki that she needs to sign over all their businesses to him, or he’ll go to the police with the truth.
As some of the women meet for a panicked conversation about how to handle Nish, and they agree that Suki must agree to his demands to protect them.
But will she really do it?
While this remains to be seen, Nish gets a surprising love interest next week in the Square.
Suki is suspicious of Nish when he offers to rent a flat to Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace), who made the decision to leave her cheating husband Phil Mitchell, rent-free to begin with.
Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) teases Nish that he fancies Kat.
In The Vic, Phil (Steve McFadden) tells George Knight (Colin Salmon) he’s giving Kat time to cool down before trying to win her back.
But tempers flare when Kat arrives and declines Phil’s offer paying for her drink before Nish steps in to ask him to leave her alone.
Back at No. 41, Priya advises Nish to get on with his life as Suki is never coming back, so he calls Kat and asks her on a date.
However, Kat says it’s too soon and turns him down.
Despite the setback, Nish and Suki focus on their divorce proceedings with the help of a mediator next week – but how will it go?
Could Nish start to remember what happened on the day he was assaulted?
Will the Six have to shut him up?
EastEnders airs from Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
