Karen Taylor stunned by TWO shock returns in EastEnders
Both characters left Walford during lockdown in 2020. How will they be welcomed back?
KAREN Taylor’s loved ones gather round in The Vic next week to celebrate her birthday.
But in a shocking twist, two missing EastEnders characters make a surprise comeback next week. How will Karen react?
After taking part in a kidnapping scam, which she organised with her son Keanu Taylor to get revenge on Sharon Watts, Karen Taylor is treated to a surprise birthday bash in The Vic next week on BBC One.
The beloved character portrayed by Lorraine Stanley walks into the boozer surrounded by her closest friends and relatives.
However, she’s over the moon when two of her children rock up Walford after three years of absence – Riley and Chatham Taylor.
Respectively portrayed by real-life brothers Tom and Archie Jacobs, the pair left Albert Square in the midst of the 2020 lockdown, when Karen sent them to live with their father.
At the time, she’d agreed to have joint custody but the boys soon decided to stay with their father at all times.
Both Riley and Chatham were rarely able to see their mother Karen – but could her birthday gathering bring change?
Could they decide to move back in with her?
Aside from the late and beloved Chantelle, Karen’s children are leading their own lives with Keegan having left the Square to go to Germany and Bernie working in the local café.
Keanu, on the other hand, has been on-and-off with Sharon Watts and Karen has had a lot to say about their rocky relationship.
As mentioned above, both Karen and Keanu (Danny Walters) worked out a plan to make the businesswoman pay as they staged a kidnapping.
During this plan, young Albie Watts was taken away from his distraught mother but he was eventually returned when Sharon paid up a hefty ransom.
Keanu and Karen have received the money but while the hunk remains careful, his mother is less cautious and her behaviour catches Mitch Baker’s eye.
While at The Vic, Mitch (Roger Griffiths) soon becomes suspicious of her cash flow when she agrees to pay for a large drinks tab.
Mitch continues to try and repair the relationship between Karen and Keanu and the pair edge closer to a reconciliation following a heart-to-heart.
Later on, however, Karen and Keanu get a nasty shock when Malcolm, their accomplice, appear at the party and Albie takes a shine to him.
Will their secret be uncovered?
