EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy took the time to praise working parents as she reflected on her own schedule.

The Sonia Fowler actress, 40, shared a clip of herself talking about her daily routine as a working mum on Instagram.

She captioned the post: ‘To everyone out there that works a full week, every week and looks forward to the weekends and holiday times only. YOU ARE AMAZING PEOPLE.

‘I am so lucky that my job can be super busy, but then I can have a week off unexpectedly.’

She added: ‘Or work a few days and then have a morning off or whatever. I don’t take this for granted one bit and I’m in awe of everyone else. Happy Tuesday.’

Over on EastEnders Sonia and her partner  Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) are desperate to have a baby together in EastEnders, and recently began receiving IVF treatment.

The couple decided to take this step after Reiss revealed that he couldn’t naturally conceive, but that he wanted to have children with Sonia.

Due to the fact that Sonia already has a daughter, the couple had to go to a private clinic, with Reiss dipping into the savings of his comatose wife Debbie in order to fund the treatment.

Things seem to have progressed nicely for the couple, and recent scenes saw Sonia get excited as she suspected she may be pregnant.
