Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) and Eve Unwin’s (Heather Peace) storyline reaches a huge turning point in EastEnders soon, as Eve’s attempt at moving on makes Suki confront how she truly feels.
Over the Summer, Suki made the decision to stop seeing Eve and stay in her relationship with Nish (Navin Chowdhry).
The evil man has continued to physically and mentally abuse Suki since then, recently grabbing her neck and forcing her to say that Kheerat (Jaz Deol) killed Ranveer – not Ravi (Aaron Thiara).
The arrival of Priya (Sophie Khan Levy) and daughter Avani (Aaliyah James) has increased Suki’s stress levels and in upcoming episodes, Vinny (Shiv Jalota) starts to wonder if his mum is alright.
Later, Nish steps in to sort a problem with Avani’s passport, and Priya tells her daughter she will make sure he loves having them around.
However, when Priya ends up kissing Nish, he is horrified – especially when he realises Suki and Vinny are stood in the doorway!
After accusing Nish of enjoying the kiss, Suki struggles when she sees Eve with her new girlfriend Tessa. She then convinces Nish to give Priya another chance, which leaves Vinny curious as to why Suki was so forgiving.
Suki ends up confessing the truth about the depth of her unhappiness within the marriage, and how much she hates Nish. Despite being devastated, Vinny tells Suki that if she wants to be with Eve, he won’t stand in her way.
As the week continues, Eve spots an argument between Suki and Nish and manages to get her alone to talk. Suki reveals that Vinny has given his blessing to them being together, but Eve says that she doesn’t want to go back to a closeted relationship now she’s got Tessa.
Feeling as though she has no reason to stick around, Suki tells Vinny that she’s going to leave Nish and start a new life.
Putting the final touches to her plan, Suki makes a last-chance plea to Eve to come with her.
Stacey (Lacey Turner) tells her friend that it’s important to look to the future with Tessa, not the past with Suki.
But who will Eve choose?
