Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell has been “hit hard” by the comments made about her relationship with Bobby Brazier.
The duo have struck up a close bond since being partnered together on this year’s series of the BBC dance competition and the EastEnders actor, 20, has made it no secret of his affection for the Australian dancer, previously admitting he had “fallen in love” with her. He told The Mirror: “I could speak about Dianne all day.
“She’s just a diamond – you know what, I’m falling in love with her. She’s just great.”
But these comments didn’t go down well, with fans accusing Bobby of being “disrespectful” and branding their relationship “uncomfortable” and “inappropriate” on a Digital Spy forum. Dianne, 34, who has been in a long-term relationship with ex-Strictly partner Joe Sugg since 2018, is reportedly feeling down about the remarks made about their partnership.
The YouTuber has been Dianne’s number one supporter on social media and this weekend was no different, despite the backlash. On Saturday night (November 5), Dianne and Bobby were subject of speculation once again after they performed a passionate Argentine Tango.
At the end of their routine, it appeared Bobby leant in for a real kiss as fans claimed Dianne “pulled away”. But the near-kiss didn’t seem to faze Joe, 32, as he threw his support behind the pair after their performance.
Sharing a clip of their dance online, he wrote: “Wow Amazing!! Well done you two @diannebuswell @bobbybrazier. LOVED IT.”
It comes after expert Darren Stanton revealed when Bobby’s time in the BBC competition will come to an end. Speaking exclusively to Daily Star on behalf of Betfair Casino, the body language expert explained how Bobby “will keep going for another couple of weeks.”
However, in a blow to fans, the expert “can’t imagine him being in the final.” He added: “I don’t think he and Dianne are up to par with Nigel and Katya or Layton and Nikita.”
